Welcome to the International Accreditation Center of the United States (IACUS). By accessing our website or purchasing/using any accreditation, certification, or certificate services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1) Service Description
- IACUS provides accreditation services (e.g., Company, Academy, University, School/College, Hospital/Polyclinic, Hotel), certification services (e.g., ISO, EN, Compliance), and certificate services (e.g., Student, Course).
- Certificates and accreditations are issued digitally in PDF format, include a QR code and online verification link, and are digitally signed and stamped.
- Delivery timeline: up to seven (7) business days after successful verification of your application.
- Online process: applications are completed remotely; no physical inspection is required unless explicitly stated.
2) Eligibility
- You must be 18+ and an authorized representative of the applying organization, or have documented authorization to act on its behalf.
- You agree to provide complete, accurate, and current information and to promptly update any changes.
3) Accounts & Use of Services
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
- Access credentials and verification tools (e.g., links, QR codes) must not be shared or misused.
- Certificates and accreditations are non-transferable and are issued only to the named organization or learner, as applicable.
4) Application, Verification & Delivery
- After payment and submission, IACUS reviews your application and supporting documents.
- Upon successful verification, your digital certificate/accreditation is delivered within seven (7) business days.
- If additional information is required, processing timelines may be extended until completion of verification.
5) Digital Service & Completion
- Issuance of the digital certificate/accreditation (with QR and verification link) constitutes full delivery of the Service.
- Once issued, Services cannot be reversed or reassigned to another entity or individual.
6) Fees, Payments & Taxes
- Prices are shown at checkout and may vary by service type and scope.
- You authorize IACUS (and its payment processors) to charge the payment method provided for all fees and applicable taxes.
- Invoices and receipts may be provided electronically.
7) Refund Policy
- Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy.
- IACUS guarantees a 100% refund if your application is officially denied and no certificate/accreditation has been issued.
8) Verification & Public Listings
- Certificates include a QR code and verification link that enables third parties to verify authenticity.
- Where applicable, issued accreditations/certifications may be listed in IACUS verification directories or pages, subject to our policies and your consent where required by law.
9) Intellectual Property
- All site content, trademarks, logos, seals, and materials are owned by IACUS or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent from IACUS.
10) Compliance & Prohibited Uses
- You agree to use the Services in compliance with applicable laws and to refrain from fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or unlawful practices.
- Providing false or misleading information, tampering with verification features, or misrepresenting accreditation/certification scope is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or revocation.
11) Third-Party Services
- We may use third-party providers (e.g., hosting, payments, analytics, communications). Your use of those components may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
12) Disclaimers
- Except as expressly stated in writing, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
- IACUS does not guarantee that accreditation/certification will result in employment, promotion, regulatory approval, market access, or any particular outcome.
13) Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, IACUS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.
- In no event will IACUS’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services exceed the amount you paid to IACUS for the Service giving rise to the claim.
14) Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IACUS and its affiliates, officers, directors, and personnel from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
15) Modifications to Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting with the revised date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitute acceptance.
16) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
- Before filing a claim, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve disputes through informal negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, USA, and the parties consent to such jurisdiction and venue, unless prohibited by applicable law.
